» The Mall set to support the super reds

The Mall Alhambra has announced that it is backing Barnsley FC all the way to Wembley by closing early on the day of the FA Cup semi final.

This Sunday, 6th April, The Mall will be open from 9am to 3pm to ensure that all staff and shoppers who haven’t been able to get tickets will be home in time for the kick off.

All The Mall’s retailers agreed that amending opening hours for this very special event would ensure that our customers will enjoy their usual Sunday shopping experience as well as enabling our staff and shoppers, who haven’t been able to get tickets for the game, to watch the match and support the team at home or at the local pub.

Mark Broadhead, General Manager of The Mall Alhambra says: “Everyone at The Mall would like to wish the team good luck, and hope that we will be make a similar announcement if they make it to the finals. Come on you Tykes!!”

Normal opening hours will resume on April 7th
